Travel Dates
Arrival & Registration: Monday, July 16th 2012, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm AND
Tuesday, July 17th, 2012, 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Departure: Sunday, July 22nd, 2012

(Directly off the I-15 Interstate which can be picked up at McCarran Airport, approximately 50 min from the airport)
Weigh-In Site: Casablanca Events Center
Weigh-In Times: 7:00 am each day of competition
Weigh-ins and Physicals: Each boxer must satisfactorily complete weigh-ins and physicals each day that he competes. Please remember to have your athletes present at the start of weigh-ins as weigh-ins as the order may be random. There is no weight allowance.
Drawing & Bracketing: The draw will be conducted at the close of Registration and posted Wednesday, July 18, 2012 by 5:00 am.
Trial Scale: A trial scale will be available throughout the tournament at the Casablanca Hotel in the Moroccan room, ground floor.
Fitness Center: TBA Check back for details
Travel/Transportation: Arrival & Departure Transportation is available to those participants who complete the attached Transportation Request Form and submit it by 7/01/12.
Transportation will be available by request from the Las Vegas McCarran Airport on Monday July 16th starting at 3pm and on Tuesday July 17th until 5pm to the Casablanca and Virgin River hotels listed below. Transportation will also be available on Sunday July 22th from these 2 hotels back to the McCarran airport.

USA Boxing Passbooks: USA Boxing Athlete Passbooks should be hand-carried by each boxer or the State/District Team Manager.

Athlete Participant Age: This tournament is open to all male Junior Boxers between the ages of 9 – 16
JUNIOR BOYS ONLY – FEMALES HAVE THEIR OWN GOLDEN GLOVES TOURNAMENT IN FLORIDA
USA Boxing Membership: Each tournament participant (Boxers, Coaches, Officials, Physicians, Tournament Administration, etc.) must be registered with USA Boxing for the 2012 membership year, and have proof of registration (Registration Pink Copy, Membership Card, Passbook Validation Stamp). Officials and coaches MUST be currently certified to work.
Event Tickets will be available for purchase at the event venue:
1-day - $16.50
2-day - $27.00
3-day - $32.00
4-day – $37.00
Awards: There will be Championship Belts for the Golden Gloves National Champion in each weight division and in each weight class.
One Junior Golden Gloves Coach of the Year Award
One Junior Golden Gloves Outstanding Official Award
One Junior Golden Gloves Outstanding Volunteer Award
There will be one Best Boxer Award for each age division
There will be a 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Place Team/Franchise Award based on points.
YOU MUST BE PRESENT THE NIGHT OF THE FINALS TO RECEIVE YOUR AWARD, IF YOU LEAVE EARLY YOUR AWARD WILL BE FORFEITED.
